The right plan for each user, commitment terms that fit how you grow, and renewals that never catch you off guard.
Get a licensing quoteStop overpaying for Microsoft 365
Microsoft 365 licensing looks simple until renewal day. Several plans went up in price on July 1, 2026, month-to-month terms cost 20% more than annual ones, and a subscription that lapses no longer gets a free grace period. Most small businesses find out on the invoice.
As a Microsoft CSP partner, we quote your licences, set up the tenant and manage renewals for you. Our services are quoted separately and never folded into the licence price, so you always see what Microsoft charges and what we charge.
It is rare to find a tenant where nothing can be reclaimed. Former employees, duplicate plans and add-ons nobody uses add up quickly.
We can help if:
- You are not sure every user is on the right plan
- Renewal dates are spread across the year and hard to track
- You pay month-to-month because nobody chose a term on purpose
- Former employees still hold paid licences
- You are weighing Copilot or a move from Standard to Premium
Licensing, managed end to end
Plan selection
Basic, Standard or Premium per user, mixed in one tenant where it makes sense, with Copilot added only where it pays off.
Commitment terms
Annual, monthly, or annual billed monthly, chosen per subscription based on how stable each team is.
Licence clean-up
Unassigned seats, departed users and overlapping add-ons found and removed at the right moment in the term.
Renewals and billing
Renewal dates reviewed before they arrive, and invoices that separate Microsoft licences from our services.
Which Microsoft 365 plan does each user need?
Business Basic covers web and mobile apps, email on your own domain and Teams. Business Standard adds the desktop Office apps. Business Premium adds the security layer: Intune device management, Defender for Business, Defender for Office 365, Conditional Access and Purview Information Protection.
Plans can be mixed in the same tenant, and business plans are built for organizations of up to 300 users. A warehouse worker who only needs email does not need the same licence as an accountant handling client files. Managed clients standardize on Business Premium because our security baseline depends on it. For everyone else, we match the plan to the work.
- Business Basic: web and mobile apps, email, Teams, 1 TB of OneDrive
- Business Standard: adds desktop apps on up to 5 PCs or Macs per user
- Business Premium: adds Intune, Defender for Business and Purview
- Copilot: an add-on, or a bundle with Standard or Premium
NCE terms, explained plainly
Microsoft's New Commerce Experience sets the rules for every CSP subscription. A month-to-month term costs 20% more than an annual one. Paying an annual term in monthly instalments costs 5% more than paying upfront. You can add seats at any time, but you can only cancel or reduce within 7 days of the term start, a renewal or the date seats were added.
Since May 4, 2026, a CSP subscription that is not renewed either ends or moves to a paid extended term at the monthly price plus 3%. From January 2027, Microsoft updates Canadian dollar prices every January. We set terms per subscription, so stable teams get the annual price and seasonal staff stay flexible.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can we mix Microsoft 365 plans in one tenant?
Yes. Business Basic, Standard and Premium can sit in the same tenant, so each person gets the plan their work needs. Business plans are built for organizations of up to 300 users.
What is the difference between monthly and annual terms?
Under Microsoft's New Commerce Experience, a month-to-month term costs 20% more than an annual term, and an annual term paid monthly costs 5% more than paying the year upfront. Annual terms can only be reduced at renewal, so we keep monthly terms for seats that change often.
Can we cancel licences we no longer need?
You can add seats at any time, but under NCE you can only cancel or reduce within 7 days of the term start, a renewal or the date seats were added. Outside that window, the reduction waits for the renewal date, which is why we track every one.
What happens if a subscription is not renewed?
Since May 4, 2026, a CSP subscription that is not renewed ends or moves to a paid extended service term at the monthly price plus 3%. There is no longer a free grace period, so every renewal needs a decision before the date.
Do we need Business Premium?
If you want Intune, Defender for Business, Conditional Access and sensitivity labels, yes: those come with Premium. It is also required for our managed IT plan, because our security baseline depends on it. For project work only, we can work with the plans you have.
Are your services included in the licence price?
No. Microsoft licences and our services are quoted and invoiced separately. You always see what Microsoft charges and what we charge.
